WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The TECA PTA has lots of fun projects and events that need your help. Responsibilities and time commitments are wildly varied, and we'll take any help we can get.

Start by joining our bite-sized volunteer mailing list, and we'll let you know when we need volunteers for specific things!

​

Want to join ongoing efforts? Join a committee:

  • Recruitment & Enrollment — chat with prospective parents and newly enrolled families

  • Flourish — our annual auction & party for parents and staff

  • Events — other annual events, including our Read-a-Thon, Science Night, and more

  • Communications — foster communication throughout the TECA community

  • Fundraising — organize our annual Fill the Jar campaign

  • Merch — help TECA families, teachers, and staff connect by making our community more visible around town

  • Volunteer Recruitment — get more TECA parents involved with the PTA so we can do more cool stuff!

  • Special Projects — explore other projects the PTA could fund or organize that contribute to the community

To join a committee, come to a monthly PTA meeting at TECA or email the board at teca-pta-board@googlegroups.com.

El PTA de TECA tiene tantos proyectos y eventos que necesitan su ayuda. Las responsabilidades y los compromisos de tiempo son muy variados, ¡y aceptaremos cualquier ayuda que podamos obtener!

2023/2024 Meeting Schedule

The TECA PTA meets every month at school, usually on the first Tuesday of the month, alternating between morning meetings at 8:20am and evening meetings at 6pm. Location (and childcare for evening meetings) will be confirmed prior to the meeting!

 

Fall meetings:

  • Tuesday, September 5th at 8:20am

  • Tuesday, October 3rd at 6:00pm

  • Tuesday, November 7th at 8:20am

~ No monthly PTA meetings in December or January ~

​

Spring meetings:

  • Tuesday, February 6th at 6:00pm

  • Tuesday, March 5th at 8:20am

  • Tuesday, April 2nd at 6:00pm

  • Tuesday, May 7th at 8:20am

2023/2024 Calendario de reuniones

La PTA de TECA se reúne todos los meses en la escuela, generalmente el primer martes del mes, alternando entre la reunión matutina a las 8:20 a. m. y la reunión vespertina a las 6 p. m. ¡La ubicación (y el cuidado de niños para las reuniones vespertinas) se confirmarán antes de la reunión!

Reuniones de otoño:

  • Martes 5 de septiembre a las 8:20 am

  • Martes 3 de octubre a las 18:00

  • Martes 7 de noviembre a las 8:20 am

 

~ No hay reuniones mensuales de la PTA en diciembre o enero ~
