Congratulations to EVERYONE who participated in last month's extremely successful Read-A-Thon. We smashed our fundraising goal ($4,000) with $6,480 raised, and more importantly, our students actively read over 300,000 minutes in one month! That's an average of over 400 minutes per student! The TECA PTA's 2019 Read-a-thon is just around the corner, and we are looking for parents who are interested in representing each grade as a liaison. Each Grade Liaison will be responsible for: • interacting with teachers from your assigned grade • ensuring that teachers have the necessary materials to support the Read-a-thon • collecting and tracking donations and logs for the raffle (and prizes).
