This month, the topic will be Language and the Brain. Learn about the advantages of Dual Immersion in a global world. Presented by TECA Principal, Kevin Chavez.


Childcare Provided!

The Mission Graduates will be on hand to provide child care during the meeting (limited to 30 spaces). Sign up at the PTA board outside of the Main Office or by sending an email to Tracey Murnaghan before Friday, November 30th.


Community dinner provided by the TECA PTA.

Announcing Movie Night at TECA on Friday, December 7th , 2018 from 6pm-8:30pm


COME WATCH WITH US!


The TECA PTA will be providing pizza, drinks, popcorn AND child care. At the drop off you will need to provide your child emergency contact information.


There is a suggested donation of $6 per child. Parents have 2 options:

1. Accompany their child for entire evening

2. Drop off your child 6pm-9pm


You must register your child before the event. You will need to provide emergency contact information for your child.


Volunteers to help serve food and take care of the children are needed.

Queen of Katwe is rated PG (Parental Guidance is suggested).

The TECA PTA’s 'Fill the Jar Fall Fundraiser' is underway.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 in donations for the TECA PTA General Fund.



Can You Spare Some Change?

We are a vibrant, diverse elementary school with a strong and inclusive community, exciting arts program, a wonderful Spanish/English Immersion option, and other outstanding enrichment opportunities. But there is a gap between what the school budget provides through public funding and what our students need to excel and succeed.

You can help us close that gap and BE THE CHANGE!


The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plans many community events and fundraisers during the year, including movie nights, Family Science Night, Campus Clean Up, and more. Our fundraising events have helped fund mobile science labs, a school library and a soccer field.

Your Change Can Be the Change!

Money raised during this Annual Giving Campaign helps fill the crucial budget gap, providing funds for new computers, science enrichment, arts programs, PE equipment, maintaining our new outdoor garden program, and other wonderful programs. Consider donating what you would have spent for one month of childcare (preschool, summer camp, etc.). If every family gives what they can, we will far exceed our goal and truly benefit our children’s education.


$5 helps with classroom supplies

$50 brings technology improvements

$150 funds STEM projects

$500 allows for teacher development

$1,000 rents a bus for a field trip

$5,000 supports our outdoor garden, funds garden curriculum and instructor
