Jewell Parker Rhodes Inspires TECA Readers

On Friday, January 25th TECA hosted their first author visit with the incredible Jewell Parker Rhodes.

Dr. Rhodes stayed after to sign some books.

Jewell was personable, inspiring, and really connected with the students. The students were enraptured by her words as she shared her stories and it was evident on their faces that this was a day they might never forget.

The visit officially kicks off our 2019 Read-A-Thon, which runs throughout the month of February.

TECA Science & Invention Festival - March 1st

TECA PTA has announced the Annual Science & Invention Festival on the evening of Friday, March 1st.

Join us for Food, Interactive Science and Invention! We are happy to bring a a fun, family evening of interactive science experiments, fun technology and creative inventions. We invite you to come and enjoy these exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) experiences together with your children.

Dinner will be provided and everyone gets a chance to win awesome prizes: gifts cards, board games and more!

TECA Welcomes New Little Free Library!

Give a book, take a book.

In support of February's Read-A-Thon, friends of the TECA PTA have generously built (and gifted) a new place for free book exchange.

Located just outside of the TECA Library, the Little Free Library is ready for our students' enjoyment.

Swing by and pick up a new favorite book, or share one yourself!
